Our resistance to restrictions could explore the feeling of confinement and the desire for freedom, using imagery of literal and metaphorical chains and limitations to symbolize the restrictions artists face. The artists in this exhibition can avoid or push back against authority, challenge traditions, and express their determination to break free from these limitations — Juried by New York dealer and President, Hollis Taggart of Hollis Taggart Gallery.
Atelier Modern, winner of Best of Westchester for Art Curation for two years in a row, is hosting a group exhibition of artists this summer in an exhibition called “Summer Playlist.”
Curatorial Statement: This exhibition is based on the idea that there are songs that remind us of the summer either because of the lyrics, the tempo or the time when we first heard it. For us, our summer playlist is filled with songs that tend to be high energy bops that lift our spirits. We hope to curate art this summer that echoes this idea - pieces with bold, bright colors!
Delighted to be participating in my first National Association of Women Artists (NAWA) exhibition. I recently became a Signature Member. I will be exhibiting an acrylic and collage on canvas work — sized 24 x 24 inches. The work is called “Mother Earth 2, 2026.” It is a diptych and has a similar color palette to the first Mother Earth painting.

During Art Basel Miami, 2024, Jill Krutick collaborated once again with SHIM Art Network to showcase artists from around the world at Aqua Art Miami, during Miami’s biggest art week of the year, Art Basel Miami. Over a dozen artists participated in the exhibition, which traveled from Mexico City to Venice to Miami.
Contemporary abstract expressionist artist Jill Krutick will unveil her newest installation, the Animorph Series, at Aqua Art Miami, taking place December 3–7 during Art Basel Miami. The presentation marks a striking evolution in Krutick’s environmentally focused practice, bringing together imagination, memory, and advocacy through a dynamic suite of underwater-inspired works.
The Animorph Series comprises 16 ink-on-Yupo pieces, each 18 x 18 inches, arranged in an immersive installation that evokes the fluidity and wonder of the ocean’s depths. Drawing on Krutick’s personal experiences as an avid scuba diver, the series conjures imaginary undersea creatures, vibrant ecosystems, and the surreal beauty of coral reefs. The luminous colors and organic forms create a dreamlike, ever-shifting aquatic world—one that celebrates the ocean’s vitality even as it underscores its fragility.

This time we will be hosting the event at Artistree Performing Arts, a wonderful performing arts group in Mamaroneck. Several businesses will also be featured during the evening including: Jill’s Bar & Restaurant, Artistree Performing Arts and Sound Seafood Market & Sushi. The evening will include drinks, refreshments and an enlightening discussion. We will include an array of women-owned businesses who will discuss their background and promote their businesses in a short format. Delighted to continue to partner with Oak & Oil Gallery located in lovely Katonah, New York where I will be participating in a two person exhibition, “Melting Adversity” with Richard Coico. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th beginning at 4pm and the show is expected to run to August 2nd. Richard and I will be joining forces for this exhibition where I will be featuring a wide array of artworks. The final list of works is still being curated. Atelier Modern, a beautiful design store in Larchmont (2091 Boston Post Road), NY, has selected Jill Krutick to have a solo exhibition this spring. Krutick will be showcasing work from several of her series including Geometric, Abstract Landscape, Coral Reef and Inks on Paper. In addition, paintings from Krutick’s Ice Cube Series will also be on view. The OPENING RECEPTION and artist talk will be on Saturday, May 10th from 4-6PM. I will be joining the Abstract Expressionism Group at the “Salon Comparaisons 2025.” On the occasion of ART CAPTIAL 2025, Comparisons presents 35 groups which correspond to as many sensitivities or trends in current art. Larchmont Chamber of Commerce celebrates “Sleighbells on the Avenues” beginning November 30th, Small Business Saturday. A fun-packed schedule of local events is tied to this celebration, including a “wishing wall,” a community space for residents to share their holiday wishes for the entire season. The wishes will be collected and incorporated into an installation by local abstract expressionist artist Jill Krutick. Commissioned by the Larchmont Chamber of Commerce, Jill Krutick will create a painting inspired by light in celebration of all the holidays that take place in the fall - Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, New Year, and the Winter Solstice. Krutick will be installing Shangri La Wishes, 2024, a 5 x 8-foot painting at Atelier Modern located at 2091 Boston Post Road, Larchmont for the celebration.

Delighted to be showcasing a wide range of work at the beautiful design store, Atelier Modern in Larchmont, NY. While the focus on Krutick’s work will continue until November 1st, some select pieces will continue to be shown through the holidays. In addition, Krutick was commissioned to create a mural-sized Shangri La style work for the Holiday Wishes Wall, an event that takes place during the Sleigh bells on the Avenue celebration. Jill Krutick, a Westchester, New York based abstract expressionist artist is exhibiting seven museum-sized works at Miraval Berkshires Resort & Spa. The exhibition was installed in four locations around the resort including the Reception Area, Spa, Body Mindfulness Center and hallway near the Moonlight Pass Boutique. The show is scheduled to be on view for one year. The works include pieces from Ms. Krutick’s Shangri La, Aurora Borealis, Abstract Landscape, Ice Cube and Swirl Series. Each piece has a story that fits into Krutick’s journey from finance to fine art. Several of the pieces were featured at solo museum exhibitions that Krutick had over the past five years.
Join fellow alumni from University of Pennsylvania for an immersive experience and inspirational discussion on Thursday, September 19th at 6pm. We'll learn from Jill Krutick W'84, Cynthia Ryan CAS'84 and Allison Luvera WG'22, about their decisions to pivot and align their passion with their work. Each has set up successful businesses in art, jewelry and winemaking, respectively. The discussion, wine tasting, gallery tour, art and jewelry raffle will take place from 6-8pm at the Jill Krutick Fine Art Gallery in Mamaroneck, NY. $15 members and $20 for non-members.
