An Exhibition in Five Acts

  • “This Land is Your Land” | Juror: Jeff Bye
This exhibition celebrates the ever-changing landscapes that surround us. Artists are invited to reflect on their connection to place, exploring how land shapes identity, memory, and belonging. From sweeping vistas to intimate corners of the everyday, this show asks: how do we see, honor, and inhabit the land that sustains us?

  • Animal Kingdom | Juror: Felicia Feldman
From the wild to the domestic, the animal world has long inspired creativity, symbolism, and storytelling. Animal Kingdom invites artists to explore the animals that inspire us, examining our relationships with them as companions, muses, and metaphors. This exhibition welcomes artwork that captures the beauty, spirit, and complexity of the animals that share our world.

  • Stillness: A Still Life | Juror: Katherine Grossfeld
The still life tradition has endured for centuries, offering artists a way to find meaning in the quiet arrangement of everyday objects. In Stillness: A Still Life, artists are encouraged to reimagine this timeless genre, whether through classical interpretation, contemporary experimentation, or symbolic storytelling. This exhibition seeks works that invite viewers to pause, observe, and reflect on the beauty of the still life genre.

  • Abstracted | Juror: Jill Krutick
Abstraction opens a space for artists to move beyond representation, exploring form, color, line, and gesture as expressions in themselves. Abstracted invites artists to push boundaries, distill ideas, and experiment with visual language in bold or subtle ways. From pure non-objectivity to works that balance between the recognizable and the abstract, this exhibition celebrates the power of art to evoke emotion, energy, and imagination.

  • Faces & Figures | Juror: Sandra Wakeen
The human form has long been a central subject in art, offering endless possibilities for expression, narrative, and interpretation. Faces and Figures invites artists to explore portraiture and figurative work in all its forms, from realistic depictions to expressive or interpretive approaches. This exhibition welcomes works that capture character, emotion, gesture, and presence, examining how artists represent humanity, identity, and the stories written on the body and face.
