The National Arts Club: The 119 th Annual Exhibiting Artist Members Exhibition

  • The National Arts Club 15 Gramercy Park South New York, NY, 10003 United States (map)

Jill Krutick will be showcasing Ice Cube Night at The National Arts Club's 119th Annual Exhibiting Artist Members Exhibition in the Grand Gallery.  The opening reception will be held Thursday March 1, 6-8PM with an Awards Ceremony at 7:30PM.  Viewing of the works will be available from February 28 through Thursday, March 22.

Ice Cube Night is a featured work in the Ice Cube Series. An outgrowth of my geometric style, the box shape of the Ice Cube represents personal challenges that close friends and family have overcome in recent years. The gold in the center signifies the soul’s fire and determination to quell a challenge, forcing it to melt away.

Located at 15 Gramercy Park South, New York City, The National Arts Club was founded in 1898 by author and poet Charles De Kay, the literary and art critic for The New York Times.

In 1906 The National Arts Club celebrated its new headquarters on Gramercy Park with an exhibition of American paintings belonging to member and collector William T. Evans. A successful businessman and renowned collector, Evans, as the Club’s Art Committee chair, was instrumental in creating the Artist Life Membership Program and establishing the Exhibiting Artist Members Exhibition.

The National Arts Club is open to the public M-F 11AM - 5PM
